While I am deeply grateful for the support and endorsement of our current Sheriff, let me be entirely clear: endorsement does not mean duplication.
Familiarity with an agency should never be confused with satisfaction with the status quo. I am running for Sheriff because I know firsthand that to move this department upward and forward, we must make intentional, structural changes. My insider experience is not a tether to the past; it is the exact tool I will use to build a safer, more transparent, and efficient Sheriff’s Office.
Why Experience Matters Now
As your Detective Sergeant—and the only active law enforcement officer in this race—I see the cracks in our system every day. I know what works, and more importantly, I know what is broken. True progress requires comprehensive restructuring, not passive management.
My Commitment to Reform
Under my leadership, we will implement meaningful changes from high-level administrative reform down to daily scheduling. My platform focuses on:

Deputy Safety & Wellness: Optimizing shifts to maximize safety, reduce burnout, and increase proactive community coverage.
Active Leadership: Ensuring administration is present, engaged, and supportive at every level.
